6/17/2023 0 Comments 900 global zen bowling ballThe core was something that came from a ball that I LOVED a few years back in the Black Ops with the cover of the Altered Reality. This was the ball that I had the most anticipation about. Posted by Casey Mattingly on Apr 21st 2023 Most impressive is the performance from this AYSM pearl. To compare its 5-6 boards stronger than my Zen, 3-4 more than my Zen Soul. The pearl cover along with the box finish allows me and my slower speed to square up on heavier patterns as well as moving in and playing deeper lines when the pattern transitions. It's not crazy violent but by no means does it quit.įor me Reacta Gloss finish is perfect. Clean through the fronts with its pearl cover, enough midlane to not squirt on volume and a powerful but readable backend reaction. Where the Alerted Reality might fail and get too forward the Eternity rights itself and continues right through the pins. The S84 Response Pearl cover in a genius. The 900 Global Eternity is just that, a must have in the bag. Transcending balls do not come around too often, the Hy-Road being one of them. If you’re looking for the closest thing to replace an Altered Reality – look no further than the Eternity! The folks over at 900 Global have done an outstanding job with designing this ball. Overall, the Eternity offers a strong, readable reaction that I can use for the entire night in league even as the lanes go through transition. It’s a perfect step down from the Reality when you need something cleaner and quicker downlane, but is a much stronger pearl than a ball like the Wolverine Dark Moss. I’ve found the Eternity to be clean and very readable in the midlane, and that it stores enough energy to be sharp but not too jumpy off the end of the pattern. The Eternity has proven to be an excellent ball that I can throw on all but the oiliest or driest conditions. The core is the new Epoch core that is derived from the original Break core and is supposed to help keep the ball from losing too much energy and maintain a sharp backend reaction.Īs I often do with balls that have a shiny finish from the factory, I scuffed the surface with an old 2000-grit Abralon pad just to crack the cover a bit. It features the S84 Response pearl reactive cover that comes with the Reacta Gloss finish, which is the same coverstock formula from the Altered Reality. The Eternity is 900 Global’s new big asymmetric ball in the 900 series line. Posted by Chris Pollentier on May 22nd 2023 5 900 Global Eternity review by Chris Pollentier. It will give Global that big asymmetric pearl that we have been missing since early last year. The Eternity will expand upon the asymmetric performance offered in the 900 Series. The intermediate differential has been reduced when compared to the Break Core of old in order to prevent the ball from “locking up” or losing energy too quickly. The Epoch Asymmetric Core represents a throwback design to the original Break Core. 2 of the 3 colors that were used on the Altered have been retained on the Eternity. Intermediate Differential (Diff): 16lbs - 0.014 15lbs - 0.014 14lbs - 0.011īased off the success of the Altered Reality, the S84 Response Pearl Cover is the same formulation.Coverstock: S84 Response Pearl Reactive.Grab the all new 900 Zen today! Also, be sure to visit my YouTube channel Michael Slatky for more ball videos and reviews. For the video I demonstrated a few shots knocking off the OOB surface with a 4K pad which slightly increased my miss room both in and out with this ball. Along with several other testers most have been impressed with how easy the ball gets to the spot. The Zen for me was an easy read as I sent it down the lane. I was able to test the Zen on a 43 foot typical house pattern. For me, I went with a short pin to pap layout due to my high rev rate and slower ball speed as I personally prefer more control with bigger pearls in the arsenal. The pearl version of this cover will provide the most skid/flip reaction we have in the 800 Series. The Zen features a pearl version of the S77 Response cover combined with an all new symmetric core. Posted by Michael Slatky on Nov 28th 2020 I think this ball can be in okay on most patterns, easy or hard It reads the mids more than a typical burn ball, but a mix of continuous and angular reaction gives a lot of styles a lot of options for when to use the Zen. This unique ball fits really well for versatility. Posted by Matthew Staninger on Oct 29th 2021
